Боже мой!!

Ира ткот мне прислала смс, и Викентий позвонила о пристройстве Норда!!! Мне, откровенно говоря, даже с трудом в это верилось...я перечитала смс несколько раз

Ну какое же счастье видеть Нордю в окружении любящей семьи, в креслицах, в саду, в речке!!

Люди!!
Норд был ветераном приюта - он существовал там с 2008 года! Он возрастной пес, Нордя ослеп в приюте - левый глаз полностью вытек, правый - остаточное зрение 10% - и прогноз - полная слепота.... Все обращения мои к ветам прошлой ук по его глазкам - ноль ответа....+ он прошел через прежний стац-ад - ему так зашили лапу - что он еще и хромать стал на одну из лапок. Нордя никогда не улыбался в приюте - пищал, жаловался на жизнь, стал резко и быстро худеть.

В феврале он покинул страну и приехал в Германию, где его опекун и ангел-хранитель, не побоюсь этого слова, Урзула - в первые же дни его нахождения в Германии понеслась с ним к лучшему глазнику Берлина, Норд был очень привязан к ней - плакал, когда Урзула от него уходила. С каждым днем нахождения в Германии Норд становился все краше и краше, он отъел пузико, распушился, стал прекрасен аки прынц!

У Урзулы был крайне требовательный подход к вопросу его пристройства - только в дом + наличие второй собаки (в связи с полной его будущей слепотой).

И ушастик, который был тут никому не нужен в течение многих страшных лет - обрел за 5 месяцев такой замечательный дом в Германии! В большой и дружной семье!

Его фото с хозяйкой, с новым другом, на речке - говорят мне, что у немцев совершенно другой взгляд на мир - не гонятся они за породой, размером, здоровьем собаки - они просто хотят подарить жизнь и любовь собакам! Другие у них ЦЕННОСТИ!!!

Я ОТ ВСЕЙ ДУШИ ХОЧУ ПОБЛАГОДАРИТЬ УРЗУЛУ - ЗА ТО, ЧТО ОНА ОПЕКАЛА И ЛЮБИЛА НОРДА! ЗА ТО, ЧТО СОГЛАСИЛАСЬ ВЗЯТЬ ЕГО ПОД СВОЕ ОПЕКУНСТВО И ДЕЛАЛА ВСЕ, ЧТОБЫ ОН ОБРЕЛ ДОМ И ЗАМЕЧАТЕЛЬНЫХ ХОЗЯЕВ!!!

НАТАЛИ - СПАСИБО ТЕЛЕ ОГРОМНОЕ, ЧТО СТОЛЬКО МНОГО СДЕЛАЛА ДЛЯ НОРДА - И ПРОДОЛЖАЕШЬ ДЕЛАТЬ ДЛЯ НАШИХ ПРИЮТСКИХ СОБАК И ДРУГИХ БЕЗДОМНЫХ СОБАК НАШЕЙ СТРАНЫ!!! НЕСМОТРЯ НА НЕГАТИВНОЕ ОТНОШЕНИЕ К ПРИСТРОЙСТВУ СОБАК В ГЕРМАНИИ МНОГИХ...даже волонтеров!!

The sister of Tosy's Mum wrote a few lines of love to all volunteers:

Dear Volunteers at the Moscow Animal Shelter,

we are the German family who adopted from sector D cage No. 66 the 9
year-old dog TOSJA black/brown mix with bushy tail of your animal shelter
in late June. Please let me tell you this: My sister's Golden Retriever
dog passed away in early May 2013 at the age of around 14 years. For a month
we, especially my younger sister, were "in mourning", indecisive with respect to acquiring another dog, feeling there could not be a substitute for the excellent companion who was lost forever.

Then, in June, I found TOSJA from cage No.66 in the internet by pure chance, and because we have
enough room and a large garden to give a successor (not a substitute) a good home we took
TOSJA in our care via an
excellent temporary foster place. My sister feels much better now and
is happy to have TOSJA (now Donna) in our home. The older dog that was of no interest to anybody in Moscow has begun to thrive on three small meals a day and fresh
water as much as she wants; chicken is her favorite treat. The first two weeks TOSJA-Donna was withdrawn and
reserved, but we are patient with her, and we are glad to report her nervousness and shyness are fading gradually, in small increments. The dog has a sweet and basically good-natured disposition; her facial expression has stolen her way into our hearts. We hope that in spite of her age she is still able to learn that there is nothing in or around our households to be afraid of.

Tosja - Donna displays a strong fear of garden tools such as spades, shovels and rakes/brooms even when nobody is using them at a given time. The garden equipment is now locked away in a shed which enables Tosja -Donna to also enjoy the summer outside in the grass and among the bushes and dig holes in the ground together with our friends' dogs. Strangely enough, at the sight of a small kitchen hand broom which looks like a brush the dog shows no negative reaction.
Recently there was an unfortunate setback in Tosja's adaptation to her new surroundings. During an evening walk in the park she suffered a severe panic attac near a bed of ivy undergrowth she normally loves to inspect. Suddenly she went stark stiff, trembling, unable to walk any further. She then plopped down on the ground with her small pointed head covered by her front paws for protection as if she wanted to make herself "invisible", her heart racing at an unimaginable speed. It was such a pitiful sight! I myself was afraid she might have a heart attack . The object that triggered this "hiding for fear" turned out to be the alcoholic smell of a bottle of Vodka, not quite empty, which had been carelessly thrown away into the ivy bed by someone. I disposed of the Vodka bottle, and after about 10 minutes I managed to reassure Tosja enough to help her up and walk her home while she was still stiff and trembling, head down, tail tucked in between her hind legs.

In contrast to this a half empty bottle of German beer on a bench in the park or a glass of wine on the table which also smell of alcohol pose no threat to Tosja-Donna whatsoever; she simply walks by, disinterested. It is exclusively the Vodka-odour that seems so "scare her to death". We are inclined to assume there was something in her biography that may be the cause for serious panic attacks of this kind, but we lack reliable background information. (Has she ever been mistreated in her cage by an intoxicated person???) What made Tosja emotionally and behaviorally disturbed to such an extent?
As we keep no vodka in our home Tosja - Donna should feel safe here with us.

This is to say thank you for all the work you are doing as volunteers
and for helping to set TOSJA - Donna free from her cage! We truly
appreciate all your work for the shelter animals and wish you continuing
success for all your future efforts. In this case the benefit is
twofold: through your help a "surplus" dog from cage No 66 has more freedom in a natural
environment now and TOSJA -Donna has brought joy into our lives again.

Бедный ребенок....
никто из нас, я думаю, не может предположить - был ли контакт с человеком пьяным (от водки) в приюте или нет...но это вполне возможно...т.к. рабочие при прежней ук и били собак (и от этого боязнь лопат и щеток у Тосеньки), и т.п....

главное сейчас - это то, что эта очаровашка в ваших надежных, добрых и заботливых руках!
то, что ушастик научилась улыбаться и вновь доверяет людям!!

Спасибо Сьюзен и Элизабет за теплые слова в наш адрес. А мы в свою очередь безмерно благодарны Элизабет и Сьюзен за то, что они подарили Тосе-Донне дом и тепло своих сердец.
Мы уже никогда не узнаем достоверной информации о прошлой жизни всех животных приюта. Страх лопат и метлы это точно от приютских таджиков, а страх водки может быть и из прошлой жизни, доприютской. Может жила Тосенька у каких-нибудь алкашей, которые ее голодом морили или побирались с ней около метро.

Теперь Нордяша уверен в своей жизни, что теперь есть дом и семья!
А как умиротворенно он спит

Бедная Тося, наверно у алкашей каких-нибудь до приюта жила.

А вот и новые фото Тимошки с передержки, мохнатик обрастает потихоньку:

все дружно себе поживают!

Да уж, кто бы мог подумать, что у Тоси так много негативных ассоциаций накопится за ее жизнь...То-то она такая пугливая в приюте была, зато теперь прям светится))) Очень за нее рада!!! Спасибо всем большое, кто ей помог наконец-то почувствовать себя счастливой! А Тимошке и хвост удалось вычесать?! Он очень к нему трепетно относился)) Наташ, с кормом удалось процесс наладить? Вес не начал хоть немного уходить? На фото Тимошка кажется малость схуднувшим.
